This includes the quality of the clinical service offered to our patients with long term conditions and the enhanced services provided by the practice including vaccinations, health checks, extended hours provision and minor surgery.

Mrs Michelle Playford (f)

Michelle is our reception manager and is responsible for the smooth day to day running of the reception. She is first port of call the for any patient concerns, and will try to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. As a former member of the reception team Michelle has an excellent understanding of the frustrations patients and staff sometimes face.

There is no general patient parking or waiting in the car park in front of the surgery. Our car park is too small to be used as a general car park for all our patients. Considerable congestion arises, and we would urge you to use the public car parking facilities at the James Hawkey Hall, in the ‘Pay and Display’ car park in The Castle, or in the adjacent unregulated side roads.

Our limited car parking is exclusively reserved for those patients who are disabled and display a valid Blue Badge. The signs on display clearly state that parking is for disabled patients and doctors only.

Please do not park on the gravel paths, even for a brief period. This obstructs the footpath, risks a £200 fine, and obstructs access to the nearby houses. This causes considerable annoyance to our neighbours, who have to live with this problem every day.

Facilities include easy access for wheelchairs and pushchairs and a disabled toilet with a baby changing table. We also have an adapted reception desk for easy wheelchair access.
